Job Title: Fixed Income Trader Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Fixed Income trader this position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in the financial markets to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and interpret market trends to inform trading decisions.
• Develop and enhance communication skills through articulate interactions with colleagues and clients.
• Build professional relationships and expand network within the financial industry.
• Attend technical roadshows with research analysts to gain insights into markets.
• Contribute to morning meetings and, in the absence of the Head of Department (HOD), facilitate discussions and provide insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Enthusiasm to learn and a genuine interest in the financial markets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work full-time at our offices in Pretoria
